Neurosurgery

The following urgent and planned pathologies are treated in the neurosurgical service of the High-tech Hospital Medcenter:

Neuro-Oncology – microsurgical treatment of tumours of the brain, spinal cord, spine and peripheral nerves;
Surgical and medical treatment of traumatic brain injury;
Surgical treatment of traumatic injuries of the spine and spinal cord;
Microsurgical and endovascular treatment of vascular pathology of the brain (hemorrhagic stroke, aneurysm, malformation);
Surgical treatment of hydrocephalus and cerebral cysts (shunting);
Microsurgical treatment of degenerative pathologies of the spine (herniated intervertebral disc, spondylolisthesis, spinal canal stenosis and spinal instability), correction of the vertebra – fixation, stabilization and prosthetics;
Microsurgical treatment of traumatic injury of peripheral nerves and compression neuropathies;
Plastic surgery of the skull defect-cranioplasty;
Open and endovascular surgical treatment of ischemic stroke;
Open surgical treatment of inflammatory and infectious pathologies of the brain, spinal cord and spine;
