What is spirometry?
Spirometry is a non-invasive and effective method of studying external respiratory function.
A special device, a spirometer, is used for spirometry.
Computer spirometry allows you to graphically register the functional state of the lungs and objectively assess the presence of a pathological process on the resulting spirogram, determining the type and severity of the disorder in order to properly plan treatment.
Indications for spirometry are:
* Chronic or recurrent cough and/or sputum secretion
* Breath
* Difficulty breathing
* Noisy breathing
* Lack of air
* Decreased working capacity
* Difficult to exhale and/or inhale
* Smoking over 40 years old
* Risk factors such as smoking, genetic and professional factors.
* Assessment of the risk of complications before anesthesia, cardiovascular and thoracic surgery
* Management of bronchopulmonary diseases, severity assessment
* Monitoring the effectiveness of treatment.
The research is simple and safe. There are no absolute contraindications to its use, it is prescribed by a specialist doctor.
